October is still on record course.

The temperatures remain significantly higher than usual for this time of year - and that until the end of the month.

Munich – Who would have expected it?

At the end of September and beginning of October it was wet, cold and gray in Bavaria.

Munich and Oktoberfest friends can sing a song about the weather disappointment, there was even mulled wine at the Wiesn.

But then the weather changed and it got warm.

Very warm for this time of year.

This development will most likely culminate in a record at the end of October.

October on record course: highs in autumn - weather in Bavaria "crazy"

The amazement is clearly audible when meteorologist Dominik Jung presents the current weather forecast for the end of October on the

wetternet

channel on YouTube.

He points to the "black hole" over Germany and Bavaria, a clearly recognizable discoloration of the weather map, after which the video is named.

"These are the temperature deviations compared to the long-term climate mean of the air mass temperature at an altitude of 1,500 meters," explains Jung.

The map shows: on Saturday, October 29th and Sunday, October 30th, it is twelve degrees too warm for this time of year.

"It's even 10 to 15 degrees too warm down on the ground," says Jung.

"Peter sends us the full drone energy-saving weather," said Jung.

At the end of October, the weather reached its peak of previous development - it will probably be at least ten degrees warmer than usual for this time of year (symbol image).

The monthly balance for October is currently 2.6 degrees above the average climate - and that's not even counting the "heat mountain" that Bavarians are expecting for the coming weekend, according to meteorologists.

The preliminary conclusion: October 2022 will be the warmest since weather records began in 1881. "What crazy weather", it says in the press release by Dominik Jung and

wetter.net

.

Baden-Württemberg also reported eerily beautiful Halloween weather.

Weather in Bavaria: The concrete forecast for the end of October

It starts on Thursday, October 27th: 19 degrees in southern Bavaria, 21 degrees around Nuremberg and in the north of the Free State.

On Friday, October 28th, according to

the wetter.net

forecast, there will be 22 degrees in Bavaria.

It will probably stay that warm until Monday, October 31st.

Good weather from an energy saving point of view, but a sad record when it comes to climate change.

According to the forecasts, there will also be only isolated rain in the form of local showers.

A rapid onset of winter in November is also not to be expected, explains Jung.

According to current calculations, it will again be warmer than usual in the penultimate month of the year.

Until mid-November, it will be around one to two degrees above the average climate.
