The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Deir ez-Zor seized a quantity of diesel fuel, which was hidden in one of the car washes in the Harabish neighborhood.
Director of Internal Trade Bassam Al-Hazaa stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the consumer protection patrols, in cooperation with the Criminal Security Branch, seized a quantity of 2308 liters of diesel, packed in plastic containers in one of the car washes in the neighborhood of Hrabesh.
Al-Hazaa indicated that the quantity was confiscated, the necessary supply control was organized, the violator was referred to the judiciary, and an immediate fine of 17 million and 310 thousand pounds was imposed on him for violating the fuel trade.
