Several tens of thousands
" of people gathered in the historic center of Prague on Sunday for a new demonstration in support of Ukraine, according to the Czech police.
Under Czech, Ukrainian, EU and NATO banners, the rally titled “
Czechoslovakia Against Fear
” brought together participants from both countries in the famous Wenceslas Square.
“
This rally is very important because it supports Ukraine.
It reminds us that we have to support her
,” said Irina Udod, a student from Ukraine.
The Czech Republic has provided Ukraine with significant military and humanitarian aid since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24.
Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, addressed the crowd via video and thanked them for their support.

Support for Ukraine is absolutely vital, because it will not survive without help
,” said Petr Stepanek, another protester.
