Tracking Settlers and Ranking Military Units: The Far Left Activists' Guide | Israel today

2022-10-30T21:34:34.384Z

The pamphlet of the left-wing organization ISM that reached "Israel Today" contains a rating of military units according to aggressiveness, surveillance of fighters and a recommendation to try to interfere with the work of the police and the army • The activists are instructed to be secretive and to hide their identity at all costs: "If your apartment is raided, you must get rid of the guide quickly!"

The classified manual of the radical left activists has been revealed for the first time, raising serious concerns about the danger to Israelis if it falls into the hands of terrorists.

In a pamphlet by the left-wing organization ISM, obtained by Israel Hayom, they explain to activists in Hebron how to act in the event that IDF soldiers try to enter. "If you raid an apartment, first of all, get rid of this manual quickly!

It must not get into the hands of the army.

The wooden door can be kicked in in less than a minute." The reason for this is the sensitive content found in the document - which should bother anyone.

The document reveals for the first time how the activists of the radical left follow the IDF fighters and settle and document them in Hebron, data that could put Israelis in clear and immediate danger. Thus, the activists mentioned with regard to Ofer Ohana who was seriously injured in the attack on Motzash, two identification plate numbers of the ambulances he drives - Information that could be extremely useful for terrorists.

espionage material

Every year dozens of international activists come to Hebron, perhaps the most tense city in the world.

Their official purpose is to maintain order and prevent human rights violations.

In practice, many times they fully cooperate with the Palestinians.

The document, which was written in 2017, and which reached the "Ad Kaan" organization by a secret agent who was infiltrated into the organization, is an intelligence document for all intents and purposes, officially intended to guide the international activists who arrive in Hebron.

Over the course of 56 pages, the organization's activists, among others Rachel Kory, was one of the prominent activists in it, break down the activities of the security forces and the settlers in Hebron.

Among other things, there is a detailed description of checkpoints, including strengths and weaknesses, a description of bases, including photographs, and a ranking of IDF soldiers and police officers according to the degree of their "danger". Settlers who may cause a problem, according to the activists, and are considered "violent", are documented and described. In espionage material for all intents and purposes, which may have been supposedly written under the guise of a guide for a human rights activist, but if it reaches terrorists, it may clearly and immediately endanger the lives of Israelis.

to follow the IDF

In the mandatory requirements chapter, the activists are instructed: "You need a willingness to talk to soldiers and confront them. This is a must in Hebron. You must know the illegal colonial settlers and their potential threat to the Palestinians. Follow every settler invasion. Tweet, take pictures or video, write a report The reports, the authors explain, will be forwarded to other left-wing organizations.

The activists are instructed to come to schools and large events and follow the activities of the IDF. In the event that a person is arrested, they must follow him and try to interfere with the work of the police and the army: "If a child or an adult is arrested, try to find out his name and age and follow him to the police station.

Try to get information.

Even if you make the policeman yell at you, that's good, because he will leak information."

While the Palestinians are systematically described as poor and vulnerable, the obvious danger to settler life is ignored and disregarded.

The descent into the details of the various units is both amazing and disturbing.

The activists attach to the report the symbols of the infantry units that arrive at the scene and describe who is more problematic and who is less, in their eyes.

Thus, regarding Gulani, they state that they are "famous for their aggressive behavior towards Palestinians. Gulani are known to be the worst towards Palestinians."

Regarding the fighters of the Kafir Brigade, they claim that they are "trained to be special forces", and document how a Kafir fighter arrests a Palestinian.

"As for the police," they warn, "these guys can arrest you, so be careful with them.

They can be quite angry or scary." The YSM unit also receives a favorable description: "This is the counter-terrorism unit. It has gained a reputation for arresting Palestinians using excessive brutality."

"paramilitary organization"

The secrecy used by the activists regarding their activities is disturbing and raises questions.

They are instructed to hide their identity at all costs: "Don't be friendly, don't talk to them, never say you work with ISM. You are here on a visit, a trip or tourists."

During an arrest, they are instructed to hide memory cards: "Socks are a good place to hide memory cards during a raid."

The document also goes into details regarding the use of weapons: "The Israeli army regularly raids houses in Hebron. Their excuse is that they are looking for weapons or terrorists. They rob Palestinian family homes, destroy sentimental items, and more."

A special chapter is dedicated to prominent settlers in the Jewish settlement in Hebron.

"In al-Khalil there are very fanatical, evil and unpredictable settlers."

They define one of the settlers as "very aggressive, often attacking people with her vehicle to run them over".

One of the settlers is Ofer Ohana, who was seriously injured in an attack in Hebron last night. They claimed that he "has a habit of harassing, cursing and preventing the injured from receiving medical treatment." In some cases, they describe what vehicles the settlers drive, including the license plate number.

"The ISM organization is a paramilitary organization that recruits operatives, sends them to Israel and collects detailed information," says the CEO of the "Ad Kan" organization Gilad Ach. "The organization works intensively to smear Israel while transmitting false information to the media, and This is funded by Hamas Europe and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Israel must not ignore the connections between the terrorist organizations and the 'human rights organizations'.

ISM should be outlawed and its operatives deported from Israel."
