Iran and Russia sign a package of agreements to expand cooperation between them

Today, Iran and Russia signed a package of agreements aimed at expanding the scope of strategic cooperation between the two countries.

And the Iranian IRNA news agency reported that during the 16th meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Committee between Iran and Russia, a bilateral agreement was signed between Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji, who heads the Iranian side of this committee, and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak in his capacity as head of the Russian side. Rail transport between Enge Broun and Karmsar, in addition to joint cooperation in the field of health safety and an agreement between the Iranian “Energy Coaster Sina” holding company and the Russian “Promsi” company, which stipulates the cooperation of the two sides in the implementation of related projects.

Today, the Russian capital of the Chechen Republic, Grozny, hosted the meeting of the Russian-Iranian Intergovernmental Committee for Trade and Economic Cooperation, where bilateral relations and ways of developing them were discussed.
