Witches, vampires and ghosts are the absolute classic Halloween costumes.
But if you are looking for something exotic for yourself and your pet, you will find it at Kaufland.
Anyone can paint themselves white and dress up as a ghost for Halloween.
Many children also like to go from door to door as witches or vampires to get candy with the saying "trick or treat".
A very special Halloween costume, which the discounter Kaufland is offering this year, also goes in the direction of edibles.
Special Halloween costume at Kaufland: Grim pretzels with sunglasses and sharp canine teeth
The supermarket has a pretzel costume.
A Facebook user discovered this disguise at Kaufland and shared his find with the network community.
In the picture, a fierce-looking animal with a red face, blue nose, and white-rimmed sunglasses looks through the hole in a fabric pretzel.
"Kaufland has 'real Bavarian Halloween costumes'!" wrote the user.
Behind the contribution is the Munich stand-up comedian and cabaret artist and puppeteer Joe Heinrich.
On his Facebook account "der Wolpert" he shares snapshots from the life of his stage partner, the stuffed animal "Der Wolpert".
Its name is based on the Bavarian mythical creature, the Wolpertinger.

Kaufland: These are the strange Halloween costumes at the discounter
Of course, the supermarket also stocks classics such as witches, vampires, skeletons and monster costumes.
The price range here goes from 8 euros for a simple vampire cloak to almost 39 euros for a black and squeaky green witch outfit.
If you like it more unusual: Kaufland also has a blood-covered, ten-baring zombie teddy bear on offer (39.95 euros).
With all horror love: whether this plush toy is suitable for children is questionable.

But not only boys and girls and adults get their money's worth at Kaufland.
The lovely four-legged friends are also able to have fun dressing up.
For dogs, the supermarket has bat wings or a spider coat.
For cats there are, among other things, a witch hat and coat or a lion's mane wig.

A pretzel costume for Halloween: Disguise for real animals but stress
In any case, “Der Wolpert”, the stage character of cabaret artist and puppeteer Joe Heinrich, is enthusiastic about the pretzel costume.
And numerous users react to the post not only with a "Like", but with a "Haha", do not click on the "thumbs up" but on the laughing emoji.
Halloween can come, not for humans but also for animal beings.
But you shouldn't forget: For real four-legged friends, dressing up on Halloween is actually less fun and more stressful.
The animal protection organization "Four Paws" warned in a press release against disguising animals because this would restrict their freedom of movement.
If cloaks or the like cover their bodies, the “Four Paws” continue.
