The district is currently dealing with a lack of staff across industry and community boundaries.

Hohenbrunn notices the deficit in childcare.

However, there is no whining.

Hohenbrunn - Friederike Langwieder, head of the department, could only report good things to the municipal council.

If it weren't for concern about how things will continue in terms of personnel.

Furthermore, unconventional ways have to be taken in order to recruit staff.

And to keep.

"We have a high level of employee satisfaction," says Langwieder.

That would be a big plus.

The community is viewed as an attractive employer, the appreciative atmosphere is welcomed and all teams feel very much part of the community.

Hohenbrunn: Municipality leaves nothing undone

But she doesn't want to linger on this pillow.

After all, there are many providers of childcare, with which the community of Hohenbrunn is also in competition.

And that's why the municipality leaves nothing undone to recruit specialist staff.

Billboards have already drawn attention to the community as an employer.

Radio advertising, national job advertisements and the use of modern application platforms were served.

This has not always led to great success, but anyone who follows what is happening on the job market quickly realizes that conventional job advertisements can be of little use.

Training is also to be strengthened in the Hohenbrunn area.

According to Langwieder, there are various concepts here to build up young people in their own ranks.

Hohenbrunn: Personnel planning is "not sewn on edge"

And then there is the generous personnel planning in the community, "which is not sewn on edge." That would also have advantages if cases of illness had to be caught.

Next year there will be a specialist conference on the future of childcare with Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn.

The department has a lot to do there, in addition to all the other areas of responsibility that are based there.

The rental situation on the housing market in the Munich area remains a sticking point.

This topic is anything but easy to tackle because the search for a job is simply associated with an apartment.

The tip went to the municipal council, which now times even unaffordable apartments can so easily cut out of the ribs.

Hohenbrunn is a “district with few children”

The supply rate in the municipality of Hohenbrunn looks quite satisfactory.

"Compared to the Bavarian average, we top the numbers everywhere," says Langwieder.

Since Hohenbrunn is a "community with few children", further planning for more childcare places must go hand in hand with the planned expansion of living space.

All parents who wanted to register their children in a crèche or kindergarten could also be offered a place.

However, some have rejected the assigned institution, for example.

Even children who are three years old or older can get a place.
