Striking workers sued for lowering unit price of takeout

The three major accusations of the courier:

Action not ruled out escalating on holiday strike
The doctor criticized that the current new salary calculation method is not transparent, and the actual income is nearly 500 yuan less than in the past. He asked foodpanda to negotiate with the delivery staff, otherwise the action will escalate, including the holiday strike.
According to the screenshots provided by the courier, after deducting the driver’s reserve price, the distance fees for similar routes can be greatly reduced by 80% after the new salary calculation method. The original distance fee of about 16 yuan has been reduced to about 2.5 yuan.

Strike demands:
1. Stop wage reductions, and raise distance fees and reserve prices to a reasonable level.

3. Increase the amount of accident insurance compensation and expand the coverage.
4. Compensation should be paid for waiting for more than 5 minutes; orders should not be sent to the delivery staff until the food is finished.
5. Set a 5-minute time limit for customer pickup.
6. Pandamart order weight should be limited to 5-6kg.
7. Transparent and fair account termination procedures and appeal mechanism, the company is responsible for providing detailed evidence and reasons.
8. The standard of proof of delivery should be more reasonable.
9. Improve the efficiency and problem-solving ability of courier support services.
10. Extra bonus for working in bad weather.
11. The company should solve the parking problem and pay the deliveryman 2 illegal parking fines per month.
Foodpanda drivers continued to strike about 20 people protested in Tsing Yi. Foodpanda delivery workers went on strike in the evening, saying that 1,000 people responded and 50 people gathered in the store to fight for reasonable wages.
