Accidents, rescues and fire alarms: the fire brigades were on the road a lot, especially those from Geisenbrunn.

Gilching

– A busy weekend for the Gilching, Geisenbrunn and Steinebach-Auing fire brigades: They were alerted to two accidents on the A 96 near the Kreuzlinger Forst car park on Saturday, because two serious accidents occurred there within two hours.

The Geisenbrunn fire brigade had already been on the road properly the days before.

As reported by the Geisenbrunn fire brigade, the first accident in the direction of Lindau occurred on Saturday around 3 p.m.

Two vehicles collided, and the Steinebach-Auing and Unterpfaffenhofen fire brigades moved out together with the Geisenbrunners.

"The fire brigade secured the scene of the accident and tied up leaking supplies," said the people from Geisenbrunn.

“Just when we were about to remove the security, another serious traffic accident occurred on the opposite lane.” The Unterpfaffenhofen and Germering fire brigades immediately set off.

Two people were injured in the accidents.

It had already been turbulent for the people of Geisenbrunn on Thursday due to several rescues, and the next one followed at 1 a.m. on Saturday night.

As they report, they carried out another security watch at the same time as the accident and were alerted to another rescue service shortly after the two accidents - even though the call was canceled when they arrived.

However, just after 11 p.m., the alarm went off again.

“Nearby residents called the fire brigade because they noticed the smell of burning.

After a lengthy investigation, a smoker for fish could be identified as the cause of the odor nuisance.” From Wednesday to Saturday evening, the volunteers worked 13 times.

Nice story on the side: The waiting time at the first accident on the A 96 "was sweetened for us in the truest sense of the word.

A couple stuck in traffic gave us muffins that they had with them on the way back from a family celebration.

We were very happy about it."
