VIDEO – Guillaume Genton and the candidate of “Les Cinquante” clash over insecurity in France on the set of “TPMP”.

This Monday, November 7, the reality TV candidate Maeva Ghennam came to tell the story of the attack she suffered this weekend.

While she was celebrating her mother's birthday in a restaurant, individuals tried to set fire to her home in France.

Invited by Cyril Hanouna, she faced criticism from columnist Guillaume Genton.

Maeva Ghennam has become in just five years one of the most famous figures of French reality TV.

Discovered at the age of 20 in "The Marseillais in Australia", she has chained the shootings, whether it is the competition "The Marseillais VS the Rest of the world" or more recently "The Fifty" still broadcast on W9.

But fame has a price and since then she tells of having been attacked in Marseille, more precisely an attempted burglary, a robbery and today the burning of her own house.

It is for this reason that she decided to go to Dubai because there

“there is no such thing as insecurity”

.

She insists

"in Dubai the door of my house I never locked it, I sleep with the window open"

while

home, for fear of going out without a security guard.

The suspicion that the tax haven offered by Dubai to influencers is swept away by the guest who assures

“I always pay my taxes in France”

.

“I love France, I love coming back to France, but I don't feel safe”

As is customary, the columnists of "TPMP" are invited to react.

Guillaume Genton attacks:

"What do you answer to those who say that you show your private life too much, your opulence which some may take as provocation?"

.

Maeva Ghennam argues that it is

"her life to show"

.

She admits

"not having talent"

unlike a singer who

"is followed by millions of people because he has a talent"

.

It is her life and her personality that she is selling.

She assures him:

“I love France, I like coming back to France, but I don't feel safe and the proof, watching everything that happens to me”

.

If the influencer remains calm on the set, this is not the case for the other columnists who defend her against Guillaume Genton.

“I am very shocked”

begins Géraldine Maillet, supported by Matthieu Delormeau

“what Guillaume says, it reminds me of what they say of a girl when she is raped, that she wears a skirt that is too short”

.

The latter underlines a nuance in his remarks between

“endorsing”

these attacks and

“questioning about showing when you have a lot of money”

on social networks.

"Stop making the horrible parallel with rape, it's despicable to do that"

he insists after the accusations of his colleagues on the set of C8.

Maeva Ghennam's turn to step up:

"So it's normal to be set on fire, to be robbed?

So in fact, when you live in France, as there is no security, you have no right to have money and you have no right to show that you have succeeded in your life ?".

She then recalls that she or someone in her home could have died if the fire had not been brought under control by the firefighters.

Cyril Hanouna asks her if she thought of stopping everything after this umpteenth attack.

She replies that she asked herself the question, but

"it's her job"

so she will continue.

On the other hand, she filed a complaint, providing the police with the surveillance videos of her house.
