Landsberg – A great first half was unfortunately not enough for the first win.

In the end, the Heimerer Schulen Baskets had to admit defeat to the table sixth in the Bayernliga Südwest TSV München Ost and lost 55:65 against the experienced Munich side.

The Landsbergers remain at the bottom of the table.

The coach of the Heimerer Schulen Baskets had ten players including himself on the bench for the first time this season.

And even if the guests went into the game as clear favorites due to the situation in the table, "Miga" Migala and his team had big plans.

And what the DJKler showed their approximately 50 fans in the stands from the start was really great basketball sport.

With hard, fast work in defense, they took away the danger from the much more experienced Munich team both from a distance and under the basket.

On the other side, the HSB team knew how to impress with a pleasant passing game and good finishes.

With 14:13 and 20:9 the first two quarters went to the home team.

The half-time lead of 34:22 against the now very "annoyed" TSV players was more than deserved at this point.

For the second half, the hosts - where all the young players knew how to convince - decided to start with the same enthusiasm as at the beginning of the game.

But it turned out very differently than planned.

The guests from Munich increasingly played out their greater routine and turned the game around by successfully confirming their feared strength from the three-point line five times in the third round alone.

And even under the basket, the Landsbergers found no antidote to the pressure from the opponent.

In addition, Coach Migala's team could hardly find their way to the opposing basket.

So the third quarter went very clearly to the capital city with 8:24, who also took the lead with 46:42.

The last part of the game was a bit more balanced again, but still went to Munich East with 13:19,

The young team from the Heimerer Schulen Baskets will quickly put the second half out of their heads and orientate themselves for the next games against table neighbors Staffelsee and Hellenen Munich to the performance of the first half.

Then the first win of the season should not be long in coming.

Played: Aichroth, Cibis (4 points), Grün, Hornung (11), Lupprich (6), Migala (6), Schreiber (16), Schumacher (4), Strack (4), Teichner (4).
