Washington-Sana

The US space agency, NASA, announced today a total lunar eclipse tomorrow, Tuesday, and the occurrence of the blood moon phenomenon that will not be repeated until 2025.

Experts at the US Space Agency said: The eclipse will be visible to the naked eye in North and Central America, Ecuador, Colombia, western parts of Venezuela and Peru. However, Asia, Australia and New Zealand will see the eclipse, but the moon may not appear in red.

The blood moon occurs only when the moon is in a total eclipse, where the moon is completely under the shadow of the earth, but some of the red spectra of the sun reflected from the earth leak out during sunrise or sunset, and with the expansion of those red waves and when this light hits the surface of the moon, it appears in red, causing a phenomenon blood moon

As for the phenomenon of eclipses, it occurs when the entire moon falls under the earth’s shadow during its movement from west to east, and the sun, moon and earth are in a state of planetary conjunction, as the earth blocks all the sun’s rays that fall on the moon.
