Two brothers were shot today (Monday) in Tayba, it is believed that the shooting follows a criminal dispute within the family.

The two were taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. One arrived without a pulse and without breathing when they performed CPR, but unfortunately the staff had to pronounce him dead, while the other was injured in a moderate condition and after tests was admitted to the general intensive care unit.

The police arrested 2 residents of the city, as part of the investigation of the incident, the officers of the Taiba station carried out searches for suspects, along with collecting forensic findings, documentary evidence at the scene and witnesses, according to the needs of the investigation, the police will consider bringing them to the court hearing tomorrow with a request to extend their detention.

Following the murder of the young man, the Abraham Initiatives association updates: that 97 Arabs have lost their lives so far during the year 2022 in circumstances related to violence and crime.

Of all the victims, 11 are women.

82 of the victims were shot to death.

57 of the victims were under the age of 30.
