Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called for binding international mechanisms to ensure the implementation of the recommendations of the international commissions of inquiry into the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians.
The ministry confirmed in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the traditional stereotype in the international community and its institutions’ dealing with violations and crimes of the occupation has proven its impotence.
The Foreign Ministry stressed the need not to be satisfied with these reports, but to adopt them and to find international mechanisms to ensure the implementation of its recommendations to ensure that “Israel” is forced to end its long-standing occupation, put an end to its impunity, and hold it accountable for its crimes.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that the occupation commits daily crimes and violations against the Palestinians, demolishes their homes and desecrates their sanctities, warning that the settlers escalate their incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque to implement plans to Judaize it as part of the occupation’s plans to Judaize the occupied city of Jerusalem.
Last June, the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territories issued its first report, which stressed the need to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and stop practices of racial discrimination against Palestinians, including forced displacement, house demolitions, settlements and settlement expansion, and settler attacks under the protection of the occupation forces, in addition to the aggravated siege on Gaza strip.
