A fierce explosion took place today (Sunday) on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey and at least 11 people were injured.
Large police forces arrived at the scene of the incident alongside ambulances.
Following the incident in Istanbul, the Department for Israelis Abroad in the Consular Wing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul are investigating whether Israelis were involved in the incident. We will update when there are further updates.
