Presidency of the UDI: Hervé Marseille the only candidate in the running to succeed Jean-Christophe Lagarde

The senator from Hauts-de-Seine, who has been acting as head of the centrist party for a month, is to be officially elected on December 10. His file has just been validated by the internal commission.

In a press release published this Wednesday at the end of the day, the National Commission for Arbitration and Transparency (CNAT) confirms the validity of Hervé Marseille's candidacy file for the presidency of the UDI.

Aged 68, the senator from Hauts-de-Seine has already been acting as interim head of the centrist party since the withdrawal, about a month ago, of Jean-Christophe Lagarde, who was forced to take the field for devote himself to his legal troubles.
