According to the police, a report was received at 11:23 on the night of the 14th that a private car turned right along Zhichang Road northbound and turned right into Longchen Road. The car then fled in the direction of Jockey Club Road.
Officers arrived at the scene after receiving the report. After a preliminary investigation, the case was classified as "a traffic accident where someone was injured—the accident caused the accident and left." Ms. Liu was injured and sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital in a coma for treatment.
