The Iquioussen Affair has an appearance: an incredible imbroglio against a backdrop of repeated twists and fierce controversies.
It has a reality: an unprecedented offensive by the French State, after the shock of the assassination of Samuel Paty, against the nebula of the Muslim Brotherhood and the organizations (CCIF, Baraka City, etc.) or the individuals who are part of it, including Hassan Iquioussen.
Beyond the symbol and the political, diplomatic and legal confusion, the case indeed raises the question of the importance of the Brotherhood Islamist movement, its evolution and its strategy.
These questions are increasingly worrying France, but also many of its European neighbors facing the same problems.
Belgium, in particular, which perhaps explains the latest twist in the Iquioussen affair.
