You can follow those matches on open TV on Televisa and TV Azteca (mainly channels 2, 5 and 7).

On the one hand, TelevisaUnivision indicated that all its media (which include the open TV channels of Televisa, N+ and the VIX streaming platform) will together add an offer of 40 matches -out of a total of 64 that make up the World Cup-.

Of those 40 matches, 10 will be exclusive to the paid level of VIX, known as VIX+, according to Olek Loewenstein, president of Sports Content for TelevisaUnivision, in an interview with the local media outlet Récord.

Meanwhile, TV Azteca reported that it will have 32 World Cup matches, which is equivalent to 50% of the sports tournament.

These matches will be broadcast on channel 7, and among them are the three groups of the Mexican National Team, the inauguration, 19 more in the group phase, four games of the round of 16, two of the quarterfinals, the two semifinals and the final.

PayTV

In Mexico, the pay television service that has traditionally had the rights to the World Cups is SKY and this time it will not be the exception.

SKY Mexico will broadcast the entire World Cup in Qatar.

It will be available to those who are already users of the service and also to new customers, regardless of which package they have contracted or if they are on a postpaid or prepaid plan.

But attention: all customers need to register online to activate the benefit of all Qatar 2022 matches. Registration is free (it is only done to activate the benefit), you can do it on the SKY website or WhatsApp, and what you will be asked for will be your name, SKY account number, your email and your mobile number.

If you do not register before November 10, you will not have the benefit.

If you have already registered, you will have the 64 World Cup matches in HD.

To view them in 4K, you must have the Platinum package and purchase the Ultra equipment.

Internet

VIX, the streaming platform of the TelevisaUnivision company, will have 40 World Cup matches in Qatar (several of them broadcast on open TV on Televisa channels), of which 10 will be exclusive to VIX+, the platform's paid level.

In an October 27 press release about the November premieres on VIX, TelevisaUnivison highlighted the start of the World Cup, noting that "select games throughout the tournament will air on VIX, Mexico's streaming destination for the World Cup."

In addition, the company added that the platform will have extended coverage of Qatar with various programs.

It should be remembered that the VIX+ service costs 119 pesos per month.

Likewise, if you are a SKY customer and have already activated the World Cup benefit, you will be able to follow the Qatar matches in the Blue To Go app.
