Twitter unblocks ex-President Trump's account

Ex-President Donald Trump may soon be active again on Twitter.

After taking over the short message service Twitter, he had already announced that Elon Musk was now allowing Donald Trump to return.
San Francisco – Twitter has restored ex-President Donald Trump's account, which has been suspended since early 2021.

The Republican's profile was available again on Saturday evening (local time) on the platform - with the previous tweet of January 8, 2021 at the top.
A few minutes earlier, the new Twitter owner Elon Musk had announced the activation after a user survey.
