The bookseller hands him the novel by Brigitte Giraud,

The reader looks at the cover, looking disappointed:
"But there's no headband!?"
The book with the famous red banner will not be delivered until the next day, the customer will come back to buy it.
This is the Goncourt price effect.
All the booksellers have known this scene and recount it with a smile as if the novel did not have the same value with or without the blindfold.
