President Bashar al-Assad met today with a hundred young men and women from Syrian university students participating in the youth dialogue sessions launched by the National Union of Syrian Students under the title “Thought Camps for Syria... Let's gather around our ideas” with the aim of activating the role of Syrian youth, and their participation in public affairs and community building.
During his dialogue with the youth, President al-Assad considered that these youth initiatives are important, provided that they are later transformed into implementable plans and programs, pointing out that we need dozens of dialogue camps that do not stop, because dialogue is the basis for success in any work, pointing out that the goal of dialogue is Expanding the vision and developing a methodology and references in each of the fields.
These young people discussed President Al-Assad with the outputs of their dialogue camps, their ideas and concerns, and they raised with him issues and axes related to dialogue, its impact on promoting citizenship, the role of youth in development and non-traditional income generation opportunities, in addition to the issue of identity and belonging, and activating the role of culture and media as a means of change and building the individual and society, and a vision Youth to develop the higher education system.
