An unusual event in Jenin:
the body of Tiran Pero, a 17-year-old Al-Carmel medalist who was killed in an accident in the city, was kidnapped by armed Palestinians.

The incident began when Peru entered yesterday (Tuesday) with another Israeli citizen through the Gilboa crossing.
The two were involved in a serious accident.
Peru died of his injuries at a local hospital.
Pero's friend is hospitalized in serious condition at Rambam Hospital.
The body was taken from the hospital in Jenin.
The IDF stated: "The expectation is that she will be returned to her family in Israel as soon as possible, as a required humanitarian measure."
Peru was supposed to celebrate his 18th birthday tomorrow.
He was a 12th grade student at Darka High School in Dalit Al-Karmel.
