Striker Leroy Sané missed the last Nationalmannschaft training session this morning and will miss Germany's opening match of the 2022 World Cup against Japan tomorrow.
Sané suffers from knee problems, the German federation announced without providing further details, and will not be able to be deployed by Hansi Flick for the debut of Germany, world champions in 2014.
The other 25 players selected by Flick took part in the 'work out.
After lunch, Germany will travel from their base camp to Doha, where they will stay before tomorrow afternoon's match against Japan.
