The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the last resort of former President Donald Trump to block the delivery of his tax data to the House of Representatives.
In a brief order with no dissent, the court thus gives the green light for the Ways and Means committee to try to access the documents before Republicans take control of the House in January (and predictably give up on this inquiry). .
Earlier this month, Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily blocked the committee's access to Trump's tax records while the court made its final decision.
