The conversion of the former monastery in Miesbach is becoming more expensive again.
For the second time this year.
As Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller (CSU) announced in the most recent meeting of the city council, the costs will increase by a further 400,000 euros gross.
This became apparent when the costs were updated at the beginning of November.
According to the construction index, the increase for the 13 trades that have not yet been commissioned is around 30 percent.
Monastery in Miesbach is getting more and more expensive
As early as March 2022, the city council had to grudgingly accept a cost increase of 600,000 euros.
The financial situation in the county seat is extremely tense, even without such bad news, given the foreseeable record level of debt.
Now at 6.8 million euros
With the current increase in price, the total costs have risen to 6.8 million euros.
At the end of May it was still 6.4 million euros, when construction began in October 2021 it was 5.2 million euros.
