It is in these terms that Maître Michel Bouchat, one of Salah Abdeslam's lawyers, commented on Saturday in the daily
Le Soir
on the new judicial page of the Brussels attacks, which opens this Monday on the Justitia site, a place under high surveillance specially set up for the trial in the former Brussels premises of NATO.
After the selection of the members of the jury on Wednesday - 12 effective jurors and 24 substitutes among the 600 citizens summoned - the lawyers and the civil parties will get to the heart of the matter with the start of the hearing on the merits.
The coming week will be devoted to reading the indictment of some 500 pages.
