At least 12 people were killed in an attack launched by terrorists in the Boala region in northern Burkina Faso today.
And Agence France-Presse quoted a security source as saying in a statement today: “Terrorists launched an armed attack on the town of Bwala, located in the north-central region of the country, killing at least 12 people,” explaining that the majority of the victims were civilian volunteers in the army.
Since 2015, Burkina Faso has witnessed repeated terrorist attacks, which have resulted in thousands of deaths and injuries, and the displacement of about two million people from their homes.
