Today, an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale shook south of Panama on the Pacific Ocean, without reports of casualties or material damage.
The US Geological Survey stated that the tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, and the epicenter was determined at 4.816 degrees north latitude and 83.687 degrees west longitude.
No tsunami warnings were issued.
