The incident occurred at 2:00 a.m. on August 6 this year. Four men were suspected of being attacked with hard objects at a restaurant in Tsing Ling Lane, Tuen Mun. Rescuers rushed to the scene and found a 22-year-old young man, Liang Xjia, with a head injury. He was comatose and sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment.
Two days later, at 2:59 pm on August 8, the death was confirmed. After further investigation, the police reclassified the case as a murder case and arrested 16 people.

On November 11, a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in Tuen Mun. The 23-year-old man was arrested and detained on suspicion of murder and wounding. The 16-year-old boy was temporarily charged with two counts of wounding.
On November 12, a 16-year-old boy was arrested in Tuen Mun and has been charged with two counts of wounding.
