The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, discussed with Professor Vadim Saltakov, the advisor to the Russian Plekhanova University of Economics, ways of educational cooperation between the two sides.
The discussion centered during the meeting that took place in the Ministry's building in Damascus today on the possibility of opening a classroom division affiliated with the university as an economic laboratory in a commercial vocational school.
Tabaa pointed out the importance of having such a laboratory to support the teaching of the Russian language, pointing to the need to strengthen cooperation in the field of exchanging experiences between teaching staff in the two countries.
In turn, Professor Saltakov expressed the university's readiness to support the education of economics in commercial vocational schools in the Russian language through the opening of the economic laboratory.
The meeting was attended by the senior advisor in the Department of Foreign Relations at the Russian University of Economics Plekhanova and the director of planning and international cooperation at the ministry.
