Iran affirmed that it does not accept to be subject to sanctions and threats, and rejects any selective use of the term human rights, indicating that it will not tolerate anyone involved in promoting violence and terrorism in the country.
And the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today that “if it were not for the leaders of victory and the determination of the people of Syria and Iraq in fighting terrorism, international security would have been seriously endangered,” noting that Tehran extends a helping hand to all neighboring countries, including the countries of the West Asian region, to establish security, stability and prosperity in the region. .
The ministry added that the police and security guards in the country dealt with riots and some terrorist acts according to very precise and specific rules of conduct derived from clear laws and regulations based on respect for human beings and the rights of all people, and took the initiative to control unbridled violence, recalling acts of violence and hatred spread by some active people and institutions. The ministry also renewed its criticism of the statement of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union and the hostile positions taken by some European governments, saying that “dialogue with the European Union can only be achieved through respect and trust, and that Tehran seeks to conclude a sustainable and stable nuclear agreement that guarantees the country’s practical benefit from the lifting of sanctions.”
The statement added that Iran is ready to conclude negotiations on the basis of the Vienna draft, which was formulated after months of arduous talks, and we advise Western countries not to destroy the atmosphere of technical cooperation between Tehran and the International Energy Agency by politicizing some issues, noting that the gross European and American violations during the implementation of the nuclear agreement necessitate Iran to be smart. realistically in any future agreement.
The ministry stated that defense cooperation with other countries is in line with Iran's rights and international obligations, stressing the need to end the war in Ukraine through political solutions.
