The Syrian Minister of Defense and the Director of the Syrian General Intelligence Department discussed several files with their Turkish counterparts in Moscow today, with the participation of Russia.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense said in a statement, a copy of which SANA received: Today, a meeting took place between the Syrian Minister of Defense and the Major General, Director of the Syrian General Intelligence Department, with their counterparts, the Turkish Minister of Defense and the head of the Turkish Intelligence Service, in the Russian capital, Moscow, with the participation of the Russian side. The two sides discussed several files, and the meeting was positive.
SANA's correspondent in Moscow said earlier that a tripartite session of talks between the defense ministers of Syria, Russia and Turkey took place today, in which efforts to combat terrorism, the situation in Syria and the issue of refugees were discussed.
The correspondent stated that the three ministers stressed the necessity and importance of continuing the joint dialogue in order to stabilize the situation in Syria and the region.
