At least three people were injured on a highway north of Las Vegas, Nevada, after a pickup truck was struck by the wing of a small plane making an emergency landing on the highway.
The Da20 model plane landed on Federal Highway 95 around 9:40 am local time this Saturday, reported local NBC NEWS affiliate KSNV.
While landing due to an in-flight fuel problem, the aircraft's right wing struck the windshield of a Nissan SUV that was traveling on the highway.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Two crew members of the plane were also taken to the medical center as a precaution, The Associated Press news agency reported.
The authorities reported that the injured people were not in mortal danger.
