"There are many events with the Palestinians in the vicinity":
hours after the stabbing attack in the south of Mount Hebron in which Elyashiv Nahum was injured in a moderate condition, the wife of the wounded man, Roni Nahum, tells what the difficult and dramatic moments looked like.
"I went downstairs to talk to the volunteers, and then we saw Elyashiv running upstairs," she says of the beginning of the event.
"He saw a figure at the door of the house who said he just wanted water. Elyashiv asked to see that he was not armed, and then the terrorist started beating him. I don't want to think what would have happened if the children were there."

"Elyashiv didn't realize he was stabbed at first. If he had realized he was stabbed, he would have pulled out the gun. By chance, a friend of Elyashiv who came to help him, an electrician, who is also armed, saw the knife and shot the terrorist.
It's really a miracle," she continued.
After the attack, it was reported that threats had been made in recent days against the owner of the farm who had been stabbed.
Although it is not yet clear what the background for the incident is, Nahum talks about the high frequency with which violence is directed towards Israeli farmers in the area.

"We established the farm four years ago. We constantly have events with the Palestinians in the area. Many times Arabs do not see our presence in the area favorably and when they try to graze in our territories sometimes there are clashes between us," said Nahum about the tension prevailing in the area.

In response to the question if she thinks the current incident is related to the report of the threat by the head of the nearby village, Nahum replied that "everything is related. There is nothing by accident. No Jew was injured or killed by accident."
In the settlement they say that at the beginning of the week the head of the nearby village threatened the victim who is also the owner of the farm that was attacked.
In the documentation, the head of the nearby village is seen threatening the owner: "One day they will slaughter you."
