Today, the Iranian Ministry of Security announced the arrest of one of the most prominent agents of the British Intelligence Service.
The ministry said in a statement: "The spy called Ali Reza Akbari was connected to a number of sensitive devices inside the country, and he leaked the information he was getting to the enemy's spy apparatus many times," noting that due to the importance of his position and the capabilities available to him, Akbari became Chief spy for the British Intelligence Service.
In the same context, the media center of the Iranian judiciary announced today the decision on the death sentence issued against Akbari, after he was convicted of crimes of corruption on earth and widespread actions against national and foreign security by leaking information abroad.
And the intelligence of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on the sixteenth of last November the arrest of a spy working for the Israeli Mossad in Kerman Governorate, southeastern Iran.
