Gabon's Foreign Minister Michael Moussa Adamo has died after suffering a heart attack.
Rescue workers tried unsuccessfully to revive him, the government of the Central African country said.
As the news agencies Reuters and AFP report, Moussa Adamo suffered the heart attack in a cabinet meeting.
At the beginning of the cabinet meeting, Moussa Adamo felt uncomfortable.
The 62-year-old reportedly died in hospital.
President Ali Bongo Ondimba praised Moussa Adamo on Twitter as a "great diplomat" and "true statesman".
He also spoke of a "great loss for Gabon".
