It is understood that the police car with checkered flowers has been following the suspicious vehicle, driving along the Tsing Kwai Highway into the Cheung Tsing Tunnel, and an "invisible chariot" then joined in the pursuit.

Afterwards, the suspicious vehicle drove along the Ting Kau Bridge, entered the Tai Lam Tunnel, Pok Oi Roundabout, and Jidi, and then turned into the small road in the area, chasing each other with the police car.

When the car reached the junction of Tai Tong Road and Shiba Heung Road, there was a car blocking the traffic light due to a red light. The suspicious car "clamped hard" into the car in front and tried to break through the gap, but failed. The two landed and fled in opposite directions.

Among them, the police successfully subdued the driver involved, but the passengers fled the scene.

It is reported that the driver, surnamed Wang, is 42 years old.

The police called drug detection dogs to the scene to assist in the search, but no prohibited items were found in the car. However, after investigation, it was learned that the vehicle involved was not registered in Hong Kong, and the driver did not have a driving license.

At the same time, during the pursuit, the suspicious vehicle involved in the case repeatedly ran red lights, drove against the lane, cut double white lines, etc., plus speeding, and the speed was as high as 180 kilometers per hour. He tested positive for methamphetamine and cocaine, but the driver declined to offer further blood tests.

The police arrested the driver on charges of "driving without a license", "driving an unregistered vehicle", "driving without third party insurance", "refusing to provide a blood sample" and "dangerous driving".

And is looking for the fugitive male passenger.

As for the innocent victims, 3 private cars and 1 taxi were hit. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The police handed over the case to the New Territories North Traffic Accident Investigation Unit for follow-up.

Footage from dash cams on the Internet showed that a black private car was suspected to be driving at high speed along the middle line of the Tai Lam Tunnel, followed by a police car and an "invisible chariot" sounding its horn.

When the three vehicles passed by, they all made quite shocking loud noises.

Some netizens joked: "The sound of F1 racing cars in the tunnel" and "The New Year's Cup so fast".
