Hundreds of people from the city of Raqqa demonstrated today, in protest against the crimes of the (Qasd) militia supported by the American occupation forces, and the killing of a woman and her child by its gunmen in Al-Mashlab neighborhood.
Local sources told SANA reporter that hundreds of residents of the city of Raqqa gathered at Al-Naeem roundabout to denounce the (Qasd militia), its violations and intimidating practices, especially its recent cover-up of criminals who killed a woman and her child in Al-Mashlab neighborhood.
The sources indicated that the residents expelled the militiamen stationed near the al-Dallah roundabout, and burned a military point for them near the court in the city.
The sources pointed out that the (Qasd) militia brought large military reinforcements to the city, forced the shops to close, and later imposed a total curfew, and set up armed barriers at the entrances and exits of villages in the city's countryside, and prevented the people from coming to participate in the demonstrations against them.
