A man was shot dead by the police on Sunday evening in the 11th arrondissement of Paris after being "
threatening
" towards the police, the Paris prosecutor's office and police sources told AFP.
According to a source close to the case, the man was hit four times by two police officers.
Two investigations were opened, one entrusted to the Parisian judicial police to clarify the motivations of the man and the other to the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) on the shootings of the police.
