Winning the big battle of the five-year term would require impeccable communication and a clear strategy.

However, even before arriving in the hard part of the parliamentary debate, the reform presents worrying manufacturing defects.

On the presidential convictions first, which have varied so much that everyone can pick the one that suits them.

Starting from the idea that nothing justified an age measure, the Head of State made himself the promoter of a systemic reform (the famous retirement by points), then only parametric, before becoming the advocate from departure to age 65.

It was then explained to a very unreceptive public that this project was essential to finance others,

such as education or health, before swearing that not a euro saved on pensions would go elsewhere.
