The Red Army alarm was not activated.
A message to the residents issued by the municipality of Sderot reads: "Dear residents, have a good week. Following the sound of an explosion that was heard in the city a few minutes ago, the IDF reported that no shots were fired from the direction of the Gaza Strip and therefore no alarm was raised.
The Iron Dome system detected a hostile aircraft and intercepted it over the Strip.
