Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed that his country will stand as a strong barrier against countries that, by passing colonial schemes in the region and the world, work to prejudice the interests of the Iranian people and other regional peoples, warning those countries of their wrong policies.

In his speech today on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Raisi said in the presence of foreign ambassadors, including the Syrian ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub, that “Iran wants and seeks stability for all in the region,” considering that observing human rights is not a unilateral matter. But it should be believed by all parties.

Raisi added: America and some Western countries stubbornly insist on not understanding and rejecting the facts about Iran as an independent and free country, which constitutes the basis for the strategic mistakes and sick policies that it has pursued in recent years regarding Iran and the region, pointing out that some Western countries have made during the past months By interfering in Iran's internal affairs based on false information provided by the enemies of the Iranian people.

With regard to the talks to lift the ban related to the nuclear file, Raisi affirmed his country's readiness to reach a good nuclear agreement, and said: "Tehran has proven its goodwill regarding the issue of the talks to lift the ban, despite all the breaches of covenants by the western side in fulfilling their obligations."

With regard to combating terrorism, Raisi said: “We call on everyone to combat terrorism,” indicating that the founders of terrorism assassinated the martyr Qassem Soleimani, who fought terrorism, with their own hands.

For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on the same occasion: “We clearly announced to White House officials that they have to choose between sending official messages through diplomatic channels to reach the final step of the agreement in Vienna and divergent media statements,” indicating that his country has not moved away from the table. Ban negotiations.

Abdollahian stressed that diplomacy and negotiation are of interest to his country's government, saying: "Iran will support any honorable, strong and sustainable agreement through the path of diplomacy and negotiation, and we will follow the path of diplomacy as long as negotiations are on the agenda to achieve tangible and practical goals, but we reject negotiation for the sake of pure negotiation." ".

Regarding the actions of Western countries hostile to Iran and the incitement of some people, the Iranian foreign minister said: “In the past months, the White House and a few European countries have tried to stir up unrest and chaos in Iran and interfere in its affairs, and the Iranian people have proven once again that Iran is not the land of a velvet coup.” .
