I am under no illusions: I will be told that it is because I have worked at CNEWS since August 2021 that I am publishing this column today after the threats launched against the channel and against C8 by the Minister of Culture Rima Abdul Malak .
I will answer a very simple thing: the question of censorship exercised by political correctness has been at the heart of my work and my books for fifteen years, and I am obliged to note, in this event, that the authoritarian temptation of diversity regime is taking shape before our eyes.
Everyone knows where I'm talking about and those who read me know what to expect.
So let's come back to it for a moment, doing a little unexpected mental exercise.
Let's imagine for a moment a distant country in Eastern Europe, or a forgotten Balkan republic, from which the news would come to us that the government is threatening to shut down two television channels associated, rightly or wrongly, with the "opposition"...
