Under the title “Extreme Be Encouraged, Don’t Intimidate, Don’t Be Intimidated,” the Mar Rapola fraternity for university students in St. Georges Church in the Al-Saryan neighborhood of Aleppo held a spiritual evening for peace in the world, with the participation of the artist Raymond Mardelli, and it included a bouquet of hymns, meditations and prayers, and the church was lit in color Al-Ahmar mourned the earthquake victims and in solidarity with the wounded, with the participation of the Syriac Orthodox Archbishop of Aleppo and its dependencies, Mar Boutros Qassis.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Ben George Makdis from the Mar Rabola Brotherhood administration for university students in Aleppo said that the goal of the event is to encourage the people and strengthen their support to overcome the psychological and physical ordeal of the earthquake disaster and to pray to God to have mercy on the dead and heal the wounded and for everyone to help to rescue those who were harmed by the ordeal and for peace to prevail in the world.
