The field kitchen of the Aleppo University branch of the National Union of Syrian Students continues to provide ready-made meals for those affected by the earthquake in shelters, at the rate of 3,000 meals, after preparing them daily and delivering them through a team of volunteers.
A member of the branch leadership, Rami Jelmoud, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that since the earthquake disaster occurred, the Student Union branch, in cooperation with the Good Tree Association and the (Awatel) company, hastened to establish the restaurant and work to deliver daily meals to the affected families in the shelters, with the participation of volunteers from Aleppo University students.
In turn, a member of the leadership of the Union Branch, Wissam Farzan, indicated that she participates in volunteer work to prepare meals for the survivors of the earthquake disaster, by preparing and packing meals, as student volunteers have been hastening since the morning to help in this humanitarian work in a dedicated manner, pointing out that her participation in volunteer work stems from By itself, because the disaster touched everyone.
Khaled Aroub of the (Otel) company for preparing meals indicated that the main meals are prepared daily, packaged and transported to the shelters.
The volunteer student Lujain pointed out that she is participating with her fellow students in preparing meals, which is the duty of every person who can provide assistance, while the student, Susan Azzam, stated that she did not travel to her governorate, As-Suwayda, and preferred to stay in Aleppo to participate in volunteer work, and this was confirmed by the student Hadeel. Al-Hajj, noting that providing assistance to the afflicted people of Aleppo is a motivation and an internal feeling that stems from herself, especially that she studies in Aleppo Governorate, and she loved it and its people, and thus she shares with them the affliction and tries to alleviate their suffering as much as she can.
