Hours after announcing his candidacy for president on the networks within the internal framework of Together for Change,
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta
gave a press conference this Thursday afternoon to officially present his application for PASO 2023.
"I want to confirm, announce to you, that I am going to be a candidate for President of Argentina," started the head of government, from Tres de Febrero, escorted by the local mayor Diego Valenzuela and Diego Santilli.
"He is our candidate for Buenos Aires governor, he is proud," he said about the national deputy.
"They are going to put sticks in the wheel and we are going to bank it," he added, with a first criticism of Kirchnerism.
On Wednesday, the Buenos Aires head of government had anticipated his launch as a candidate with a photograph of kilometer 9 of route 40, in Santa Cruz.
He did it through a publication spread on his social networks at 8:23 p.m., a time intended as an additional coup.
This Thursday he took the floor
with a video
that he also circulated on his social profiles.
"It's not about being president, I want to be a good president. And together end the hatred and start the path of transformation
that
Argentina needs," Rodríguez Larreta said.
In the last few hours, he also received the particular support of Mauricio Macri.
The former President welcomed the announcement by the mayor of Buenos Aires.
"I am pleased and support that Horacio has officially presented his candidacy today. I deeply believe in the competition," said the founder of the PRO in his post on Instagram and Facebook.
