Those who asked for a national government, completely right-wing, and got instead a full-blown crisis of confidence within Israeli society and a claim of governance on steroids.
It's not just the legal reform, which seems to have replaced every national worldview.
Instead of settlement, absorption of immigrants and protection of the homeland - concepts we were all educated on - now there is "the reason of reasonableness, the seniority system and cutting frequencies in the broadcasting corporation".

This is the general direction and these are the goals that distance themselves from any national and Zionist value, and yes, also from a right-wing world view.
This government was formed against the background of great anger of large parts of the right about a narrow government with Prime Minister, the lack of governance and the fact that an Arab party was in the coalition. Now the opposite process is taking place, and in a very short time. Too short.

When you look at the government's statements in the two months since it was established, it doesn't take much to understand that the return of governance, determined military responses to the shooting in Gaza or the application of the law in the Valley have disappeared from the list of priorities.
The main effort, using military language, centers on personal laws for Deri's sake, dealing with increasing the Prime Minister's expenses during an economic crisis, illusory laws on modesty at the Western Wall or searching for chametz (measures that keep hundreds of thousands of Jews away from Judaism), and, of course, legal reform.

The government's problem is not with the opposition supporters, but more and more with the secular right and religious Zionism, those who wanted a real right.
