Thousands of people demonstrated in the city of Dresden, eastern Germany, to protest Western military support for the Kiev regime.
According to the RIA Novosti agency, the demonstrators gathered in one of the central squares of the city carrying the flags of Russia and Germany and banners with slogans written on which we want a world without weapons and diplomacy instead of supplying weapons.
The organizers said in a statement: “We will give the floor to our interest in peace and international understanding, as well as to all peace-loving people who strongly support the start of immediate negotiations,” stressing the need to give Moscow the opportunity to express its position, especially in light of the events that followed 2014, which the West is trying to hide.
The organizers pointed out that the Russian special military operation in Ukraine came in response to the coup against power by the Kiev regime in 2014, the atrocities against the Russians in the east of the country, and Ukraine's quest for membership in the European Union and NATO, stressing that the missiles, tanks and planes “It will not bring peace closer because negotiations are needed, not arms shipments.”
On the 16th of last month, the German capital, Berlin, witnessed a massive demonstration denouncing Western anti-Russian policies.
