The female doctors and nurses working in the General Authority of the Children's Hospital in Aleppo considered that all the children in the incubators are their children, and their protection is a responsibility on their necks. Director of the Children's Hospital in Aleppo, Dr. Muhammad Talal Ammouna, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the maternity hospital, after the children's hospital was out of service as a result of the war on Syria, mobilized after the earthquake its medical staff consisting of ten pediatric specialists, seven pediatric surgery specialists, about 85 nurses and 50 resident doctors. .

Dr. Ammouna pointed out that when the earthquake occurred on the sixth of February, the children were moved to the corridors to protect them, the incubators were collected next to each other, and the medical staff in the hospital were divided into two parts, one of which provided services for children in the maternity hospital, and the other was sent to Al-Razi Hospital to assist the medical staff. In the treatment of children who survived the rubble.

Pediatrician Delber Ismail recalled the feelings of fear that she experienced immediately after the earthquake struck for all the children in the eight incubators of the hospital because they are a trust in her neck, as she stayed for a long time in the incubators department to check on the health of the children, and to support the phototherapy devices and prevent them from falling as a result of the aftershocks.

The head of nursing at the General Authority of the Children's Hospital, Jihan Hassan, explained that she came to the hospital in the early hours of dawn to participate in the medical staff's provision of first aid to the injured.

As for the nurse, Amira Al-Hassan, who was present in the incubators department at the moment of the earthquake, she said: “I saw the treatments falling on the ground and the incubators shaking severely, so I rushed to support the incubators with both hands in order to preserve the health of the children in them.
